How to Turn on Hardware Radio Switch on Toshiba Laptop

Starting time if you have a device that you lot tin turn on a hotspot, turn it on, if information technology connects to the hotspot it is probably the router if information technology doesnt connect to the hotspot its your wireless menu, then y'all can only try installing and reinstalling the adapter, still doesnt work just get a usb wireless menu. I install net for a living have had several where all other devices would connect but the reckoner wouldnt did all troubleshooting steps nonetheless wouldnt work i swap to a different router comes up no trouble

The wireless "switch" on your Toshiba laptop probably is a combination of the Fn central and i of the F keys (there normally will be a "radio antenna" symbol on the F fundamental, which probably is the F8 key).  Press the Fn key and you should come across an on-screen brandish of the F fundamental options.  Either click the "wireless" icon with your mouse or press the indicated F key (while still holding down the Fn key).

Some Toshiba Satellite laptops ALSO have a switch on the front border of the laptop.

When the wireless enabled, tin you encounter any "available wireless networks" by clicking the icon in the Taskbar most the clock display?

Negative.

But i figured it out.  This toshiba laptop turns the wifi off for no reason, randomly.  No external switch and the function primal is bullshit.  Then i had to go into my programme files locate the toshiba folder and find the program initially programmed to the part key, and practise it manually, every bit there seems to be an result with my part keys that i dont intendance to set up.  Anyways.  Stock-still it.  Thanks.

If you can live with it as is, you're done.  Practiced task.

If yous want to experiment a bit, go to the Toshiba support site, put in the identifying info for your specific unit of measurement, and see if at that place's a download for the software that runs the function keys.  It's possible, merely not sure, the re-installing that plan will get the office keys working again.
